I'm not much for chest thumping. I only value natural confidence and humility.

I also care about merits in the context of how things work, more than pontificating about what should or shouldn't be a "fact".

It comes down to honesty and character. Real strength. (:

I don't think I have an inflated sense of self worth. I lived a life full of accomplishment, accolades and development. No matter what tests me, I always seem to be affirmed again and again.

Fast forward to today, I don't compromise or reconsider things cheaply anymore. I have become very self assured.

I don't think a 1700 rated player would have been able to win all 68 of my previous games consecutively, if they could they wouldn't be rated 1700.

That said, I don't selectively pick opponents, it's more of a just who shows up to my board type deal.

I don't think you should get so upset just because I haven't been proven as thoroughly as people who played thousands of games, but at the same time, i'm new here, of course I didn't play that many games yet.

Long story short just suck it up man, and stay tuned for more of my exploits and progress (:

I don't set a range, in fact, I would prefer higher rated opponents ONLY if it wouldn't mean waiting longer for a game. That's why I make it first come first served no matter how high or low their rating is!

I don't need to make excuses. You have the information and I will allow you to draw your own conclusions from it.
