Is it important for Lichess Moderators to have a sense of humor and to exercise discretion?

'Food for Thought for Chess Masters:'

Lovely Jane Doe:

Mr. Grumpledump's Song

Everything's wrong,
Days are too long,
Sunshine's too hot,
Wind is too strong.
Clouds are too fluffy,
Grass is too green,
Ground is too dusty,
Sheets are too clean.
Stars are too twinkly,
Moon is too high,
Water's too drippy,
Sand is too dry.
Rocks are too heavy,
Feathers too light,
Kids are too noisy,
Shoes are too tight.
Folks are too happy,
Singin' their songs.
Why can't they see it?
Everything's wrong!

~ Shel Silverstein (1930 - 1999)

Big John Doe, Chess Master: "God, this is dumb."

Lovely Jane Doe:

Dreams

Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.

~ Langston Hughes

Lovely john doe 1: "I'm just writing a paper on Langston Hughes. Thank you for the poem!"

Lovely Jane Doe:
"Kindness is the sincere and voluntary use of one's time, talent, and resources to better the lives of others, one's own life, and the world through genuine acts of love, compassion, generosity, thoughtfulness, and acceptance.
Moreover, kindness involves choice.
Kindness is — and always will be — one of the most beautiful and powerful forces for good that exists in the world."

"I have removed the entire thread! - For Spamming!"
I think lichess moderators (and lichess itself) do have a sense of humor. This is the site that made horsey, the site that gave people a mushroom cloud trophy after their first marathon overloaded lichess all those years ago, the site that made the berserk button a person being cut in half, and so on. I don’t know what post you’re commenting about but I think lichess has more character than any chess site I’ve ever seen, and maybe more than any large website period.
I think what you mean is perhaps a better understanding of the topic. The post you wrote is probably a horrible example, as you were spamming by writing cryptic messages.

I saw a topic a few weeks ago where someone was warned because a moderator thought that they were talking about AIDS (the disease), when the person was actually wondering if "aids" was the plural form of "aid".
I don't know what you're trying to accomplish with this thread but I'm going ahead and tell you that 1) there is no relation whatsoever between your title and the content of the post; 2) this is the wrong sub-forum for it, so I'm about to close this topic and invite you to share that in the off-topic section.
