In variants, what is the rule concerning timing out?

Antichess can have positions where the result is fixed but both sides still need to make a certain number of only moves or in any sequence of possible moves.
#1 It's a bit unclear what you're asking, overall. Also, if you try to give an example, people will focus on it so it better be right.

From what I understand the question is "what is the rule in blocked positions when people time out ?" and the answer is what @ProgramFOX said : officially the rule of the variant is that it should be a draw if it's impossible to lose, but in practice, such rare positions are not detected (it's a hard CS problem) so it's a time loss.
