I'm done with chess. I'm simply too retarded for this game.

@Jozef46 when someone tells me I'm not very good, I laugh and feel bad for them. They are projecting. They feel bad about themselves, they don't feel they are good enough, so try and make other people they play feel bad by saying things like "you should quit".

So don't feel bad for yourself, feel bad for them because they are hurting inside, they have issues they probably aren't aware they have.

I think you should abandon chess! Try tic-tac-toe, jokenpo, or simply avoid intellectual tasks. Chess is not for you, stop now.
@braiknight Take a break from chess for a few days. I sometimes get frustrated with my performance (dropped about 170 rating in blitz in the last week) but I always come back to chess. Come back feeling energised & ready to fight again!
Those who have problems with bad behavior of chess players could try to pick up shogi and play on dojo81. I have never encountered a single d.ckhead out there, ever. Part of it may be the fact that most shogi players are japanese, but even foreign players must behave as the site doesn t seem to tolerate aggressive behavior like the majority of chess sites. Too bad that chess players are inspired by arrogant a..holes like Nakamura who like to diss their opponents.
If chess is causing you this much distress and negatively effecting your self esteem, I would recommend finding a hobby you're really good at makes you feel good about yourself.
Always resign if you are losing and feel you are not learning anything new. Otherwise you are just wasting your time in order to waste someone else's, which is not a recipe for a good life.
