@Checkmate-Land Advertising is not allowed on lichess (with occasional exceptions to the rule, but this is not one of them).

Being an active forum poster is a way you get followers and therefore people see when you make a team.

so whats the occasional exception?

@Checkmate-Land I mean if you're an expert at chess (titled), you can advertise your youtube channel or team if you want to teach/help people through studies and/or videos, but that's about it. And even then, you can't spam advertisements.

You may ask your lichess.org friends to join your team through any messenger app. Then they'll ask their friends and so on.
