How to close a fourm?

i need this bcuz i want to close unusful forum like others
lichess has a forum grouped into 4 sections

General Chess Discussion
Lichess Feedback
Game analysis
Off-Topic Discussion

you can't close the lichess forum as people use it.
Just because you want to close a topic or forum (idk which one you mean) does not mean others want to close that topic or forum.
Closing topics is only given to Lichess moderators.
I'm aware of the forum topic you'd like to see closed. While you understandably consider it complete for your own purposes, the topic your original post raised, even if unintentionally, continues to be of interest to others. You of course can try requesting that a moderator close it. Presumably they would need to be convinced continued discussion would (likely) violate Lichess rules / etiquette. Since it remains relatively on topic (at least in comparison to other threads which are allowed to continue here though I'd say there's still room for argument), mostly harmless, etc. and apparently has even lead to somebody reporting an issue on github, I'd guess moderators would prefer not to intervene. But that's their decision to make. If you wish not to be bothered by notifications of any continued updates (which don't tag you) you can always unsubscribe from the topic.
most threads quickly die anyway, and all threads are automatically archived if they're not bumped in some time

I want to close my own topic how to do that

Again, you can't close it on your own. But it looks like a mod has closed your previous topic. That's not so common, so I'd guess something you did worked (though only a mod could say for sure)!

very easy
use the code CLOSE tag below (omit backslashes) - on the last line of you're post -
then just before solving the chess CAPTCHA, press ALT+F4

nota: works only if you opened the topic (topic owner)
