Help me teach people how/when to resign!!!

Some people are not getting the point. No one argues for resignation after a dropped piece or exchange in blitz. If the position is dynamic you can play whatever you want. Its another thing entirely if the position is completely dead and there is no point in trying to flag your adversary.
I usually pause for 10 seconds after my opponent has made a move when he should have resigned, that does the trick sometimes.
@Morozov I do that too, very often the opponent resign after this brief pause. It's not even intentional, it's just me disappointed with my opponent.. 10 seconds of grief for my opponent.
Negmek, I agree. Down an exchange or a piece for a pawn is not a losing position in my universe. I always fail the tactical puzzles which say "white to play and win" and then their solution is to win an exchange. That's not winning, that's just getting warmed up.

Morozov, I agree. Sometimes when I have just dropped material and I truly know I'm lost, I'm still in the frantic fighting mode, and it still takes me some time to adjust to the result. Ten seconds or a few more moves usually does it, but sometimes I'm so angry that I play on to punish myself for my blunder.
This game I played helps to demonstrate how sometimes not resigning even when I have only a king left against multiple pieces for my opponent can sometimes pay off

This is another game that shows that playing on in a dead lost position can sometimes pay off

This is a game, in which I made a stalemate trap for my opponent, in which if my opponent was to promote to a queen or rook it would be stalemate. It worked

Sometimes playing on in a dead lost position can result in getting a draw when resignation would result in a loss.
@acgusta2 That demonstrates that you play against beginners who don't know how to mate a lone king. Above a certain level and with more than a few seconds on the clock this does not really happen. With time, players just adopt lazy methods to mate safely without having to think any move trough.
Never resign!!!! No just kidding if your opponent leaves, which you can see the green or white dot. Also if you are losing a lot material wise and positional wise. If its about a pawn, keep playing.
Here ....in lichess , usually some go for rating improvement...like me who usually makes blunders and try to learn...in this category players plays till to end waiting for outcome...Top players plays their normal game..if any case their tactics gone wrong they resign..there is no wrong in either case...so, learning chess is a easy task...execution of tactics and decision making of move, handling pressure etc is vital...Generally beginner fails in pressure but top rated players know how to handle this...I want to say that if he resigns earlier...there are so many causes for it..we can not point our opponent ..personally I likes to play till end to see how my opponent player teaches me chess...real time game experience is valuable than library books...so we have to play till end...please play with out resigning ...it's my request to all MASTERS of the game....thnk you
