Forums losing their shine

I don't have an idea where to post this topic, but since it is related to lichess, so I posted it in general chess discussion.
It is quite clear that lichess forums are losing their shine.
Many big names have been chatbanned, and their are way too many spam threads.
I don't know how to improve this, this is just a suggestion, but why don't we unchatban EVERYONE on lichess?
Just give them one more chance.
I know many people will dislike this, but I think that this is the only way out.

Rules are rules. Lichess (Rightfully and intelligently so) don't care how loved, helpful, funny, polite, etc, a member is in forums when it comes to rules.

If people were chat-banned for justified reasons, then they deserve to be chat-banned, regardless of how helpful, funny, etc, they might be.

They get the option to appeal, and these types of threads, etc, do nothing about their chat-ban, and they shouldn't.

If the member realizes their mistake, appeals, apologizes, and promises not to do what they did wrong again, then they can get another chance.

But until they do those things, they are (And deserve to be) chat-banned.

If they appeal, they can get a second chance. That's the way lichess rules work.

If people don't like that, they can post about it in lichess feed-back, and suggest a change to it.

But, let me ask you this: do you want people who have called others retards and harassed people back in the forums without them having learned?

If we replace those people you pinged with people that have 0 followers, 10 forums posts, and their posts suck, would you say the same for them? That they also deserve a second chance without appealing?

@shadow1414 I never suggested that, but there are a few people who deserve to get back. Dont u think getting chatbanned for 6 months is too long?

@shadow1414 lets not argue here and leave it upto the mods to decide. And by the way, such people can be banned again if they continue to spam.

Yep This is like an Indian Court (not only Indian court others too), Public knows who is right, Judge Knows who is right, He knows which is the right decision, but his decisions are on proof not on truth. There Millions and zillions possibilities that someone of them is lying, but remember one thing. There is only 1 fact and only 1 truth and 1 right decision, which is hard to find in millions in possible decisions.
