Flagging

Hello forums !!
With an evil mind 😈😈 I am saying that making your opponent flag makes me feel happy .In the same way If I get flagged I feel so sad. What do you think about flagging.
Flagging hurts a lot
Thanks in advance.
(Flagging is trying to make your opponent’s time run down to 0 right?)
I think flagging is very miss-understood. And a lot of people, for some reason, consider it to be “bad sportsmanship”. Which in my opinion is like calling hitting someone with a ball in dogdeball “bad sportsmanship”.
Just some thought’s.
Are you seeking to play chess and improve or win a game because the opponent ran out of time even if they otherwise have a winning position? The reason for clocks is to ensure a game has a reasonable end to it and penalize those who aren’t following the terms of the competition but “flagging” without the intention of trying to play the chess game in any proper sense is a meaningless endeavor that is not the intention of the clock rules but a way to abuse it’s necessary functions. This is one reason I always play with an increment of some kind, to allow both sides the ability to play quickly and complete the game, especially if they are winning. I’m here to play chess, not beat the clock.

@challenger360 flagging is a part of the game and completely fine but trying to win every game by flagging is stupidity and it will hinder your own chess development
@challenger360 Flagging is for masters. When they’re up 3 the opponent know he will lose. He or she is giving respect to opponent because the master knows how to win when he or she is up 3. It is giving respect.
Hello forums !!
@MahtamaGandhi and @jg777 I am playing chess for improving and I always never try to flag.Usually I play 3+2 or 1+0 .When there are situation I find best way as making my opponent flag. Here is a tip if you are flagging:If your opponent has a lonley king try to take the remaining pawns. The reason is that ,if you have successfully take your opponents pawn and you flagged it will be declared as a draw .As long us there are no pawn and peices it will be draw.Note use this only when you are 100 percent sure that you will get flagged.
Why do I have a feeling that this is gonna turn into a fight?
This is why I play games with increments so that if I am winning the game and simply it is a matter of technique to convert to a win, I don't lose because someone wants to go fast and be a spoil sport.

I can see why flagging can be fun but you are turning chess into a video game and not chess. For example, if the time element was completely removed and both players could have as much time as needed, would you have lost? If that is the case, then flagging can be perceived as evil as the other person outplayed you on the board but you are using a technically to declare a win when you know that you would have lost otherwise.
@challenger360 well if you think you can flag you should do it 100%

But I've seen some players trying to flag from the very start of the game
