Hey, just wondering if anyone uses stockfish, but not the one on the lichess site, the one you can download here https://stockfishchess.org/download/
I tried running the program, and all I get is a black screen. What to do? Thank you!

In Chessbase there is a function UCI Engine erstellen. This comes up when a game is open.
There you can link your Stockfish 12 with chessbase.
Good luck!

@SeaSkank No.only lichess analysis can analyze other variants like antichess, crazyhouse etc!
I didnt find any app to analyze them. I know a phone app that you can play it offline but it cant analyze the games and only plays.

but for standard chess if you want a program that shows your blunders, mistakes and inaccuaracies with different colors after analysis I recommend Lucas chess. but if you want to analyze the game move by move by engine lines(recommended becasue it makes endgame and positional understanding better too) I recommend fritz and chessbase programs
