Death threats

Someone has messaged me and said "you deserve to die" then blocked me so I cannot answer. Should I be worried?

1. No.

2. In case something else unappropiate happens with this user simply report him.

Not a threat. Just because they think you deserve it doesn't mean they said they'd do it. This is clickbait.

Not a death threat. wishing you would die and saying they will kill you themselves is 2 different things. regardless it going too far people like that should get banned

Just report the person and then forget about them.

it's good to be worried if your gut feeling says, "wow, this feels weirdly wrong." you can get the same message 100x and not think the same way about the message. block the guy, report him, and if anything else happens take it very, very seriously. i'm guessing there is like 0.5% of anything else happening, but just listen to your gut. you are worried, so you posted. anyhow, i'm 99.5% sure nothing will happen so smile, relax, laugh it off......and worst case you could ask admin if you can create a new account. up to you... good luck

1 Does people on lichess have enough info on you to found you? If not, Don't bother.
