Chess Drama (your opinion?)

Not trying to be salty but come on... I have no title and they say only good players can play chess? Come on... GM Ben FineGold said that “If you’re a normal person ... like Magnus Carlsen” what? so only with titled players can play and stream? What a good description for a chess player lmao

The question is that GM Ben FineGold an elitist?
Did GM Hikaru Nakamura and xQc did an oopsy for collaboration?

Chess is a kind of sport that is literally a unique to be good at. Chess has an environment of being a salty one and a lively experience. So I ask myself... what if titled players do look upon to the weak? Just saying lol hahaha

Lets fix the problem because we are in a golden age at chess not in the pandemic lol... Chess community is getting larger day by day and I know you guys that you too love to see new players playing chess and we teach them and they get fond about it.

Because I am just a weak player and not a titled player so I think I cant get into topics about elitist because I look down upon and I cant explain more further than them and I may said a wrong explanation so watch it for you guys to understand :)

Ben Finegold gives lectures on chess to beginners in the St Louis chess club. It’s a shame that he had to come out and say those things. St Louis chess club should kick him out!

Ohhh... Be heard wide to all St Louis chess club members. This thread is not to punish GM Ben FineGold. But to teach some respect and manners those who undermine the progress of chess community. As a chess player, seeking help of what is the comments for his (GM Ben FineGold) attitude. Maybe he is drunk or something or having a rough day and becomes salty. But we need explanation for his emotion and for the good of the chess community family.

Its time to stop the chess drama issue...

Dudes hating on a guy who made Chess blow up, not only that but it makes a lot of the Chess elite(or maybe not just the elite) look bad. If that was a joke, then I guess blocking those who correct him in the chat was a joke too :). Where i'm from, jokes are sposed to be funny

I have nothing against elitists I also don't think he is very funny here. Saying stuff like "a normal player like Magnus" makes it obvious to me that he is joking
