c4 d4 or e4

I need to know.

1.c4 for me

e4 - Best by test!

if you don't want people to think you are a lame nerd, don't play c4

Try yourself and see which suits you best... there is no one which is better than the others.

#4 thinks I am a lame nerd. LOL

d4. d4 is the only "pawn move" alpha zero ended up playing.

I play all of them.
d4 when facing crazy strong opponents (i played d4 for the longest time so far).
e4: the resulting positions are very pleasant.
c4: You either win with your opponent having no counterplay or you lose because your King is unsafe.
Nf3: Same as c4, but you have more flexibility with your systems. It's harder to face the KID though.
