What would you do if people you know were fighting a war to protect your city and could die any day though? Would you say: "My husband could get shot in a trench any minute now, but I guess I'm gonna go there and play a game and pretend that everything is fine"? Or would you try to use all resources available to create as much pressure as possible to end the war so you don't have to bury people that's important to you?

I would recommend informing first before posting something about war, it seems incredible that all the west is acting like they haven't done any war, haven't bombed anyone since WW2, but if your source of information is the BBC what can we expect.

Really sad this post is becoming about the war only, but to be clear : Ukraine is now engaged in a war of resistance against unilateral foreign invasion. Of course the US has an interest in supporting an ally against the influence of a rival; still, it is an Ukrainian matter first and foremost. It is indeed in some way similar to the 2003 Iraq invasion, except here Ukraine would be Iraq and Russia would be the US and is engaging in an imperialist war exactly like the US did in the past.
So if you're serious about being against imperialism and the deeds of the US in other countries, you should support Ukraine against imperialist Russia, and recognize its autonomy and sovereignty (including joining NATO and the EU if it so wishes...).
