According to what I’ve heard, GM “Vladimir Konev” is in fact not the basketball player but rather the chess master Vladislav Artemiev. Artemiev is no stranger to elite blitz chess, and it should come as no surprise that he would be the best blitz player - or rather one of the best - on this site. Just search “Artemiev world blitz championship” and you’ll see what I’m talking about if you don’t have faith in my claiming his blitz prowess. On chess.com he’s better known as “Sibelephant” short for Siberian elephant. Not Nigel short.

Karpov is over 70 years old, and about last 15 of them he spended as political man in Russia. No way he can beat Alireza or Tang in 2 hours bullet tournament, obviously. Almost same things i have to say about Kasparov. Garry is too busy man to be still better then Firouzja in bullet)

Yep, I believe too, he could. But to be honest there is no more than 1 percent probability its Korobov or Kramnik (I cant see any other candidates even teoretically).
