Becoming fast in chess

Hi guys,
I have been playing chess for the last 4 months. I am happy that my rapid rating crossed 1500 recently. But my problem is that I am very slow in making moves. As a result, my blitz rating is only 900+. Could u guys give me some suggestions on how to play chess fast?

Play your pet moves at the speed of light, then you should be way ahead your opponent at least what time is concerned. 😀

Stay with classical and rapid for now.
Later after much experience you will be able to play better blitz.

A pet move is something you play without thinking, for instance in the opening you have let's say four or five moves which you usually play, regardless of what your opponent play.
