Any solid opening for black against English opening?

Currently, I am playing Reversed Sicilian, but it doesn't work well.
Any suggestion on this?
You could try and make him transpose into another queens pawn opening, such as the kings indian or the nimzo, or the queens indian.
See "Brexit ! A complete repertoire for Black against the English " on the Game Analysis forum here.
Reverse Sicilian is Ok too. What does not work well? Why?
Play 1...c6. It can lead to the Slav defense
I built a repetoire on the French that is very good and brought me to master
Look at the top GM games with 1 c4 e5 2 Nc3 and now 2 ... Bb4 or 2 ... Nf6 and later ... Bb4. Especially Vishy has played a few games with this with black.
example:

For some reasons this game is not in the Lichess database.
oh against english lel srry. Well, what do yyou play against d4?
Symmetrical English (1.c4 c5) is the main reason I stopped playing the English as often.
Give 1...b6 a try. Fianchetto your light-square bishop early and prevent white from doing the same. In the English, the knight is often better on e2 than on f3. The early LSB fianchetto forces Nf3 if white wants to fianchetto their own LSB. It might become a Queen's Indian Defense from there, so if you're comfortable with that, then 1...b6 may be the way to go.

Having played the English for a while now, I don't think I've ever seen 1...b6, but it would be quite annoying to develop against.
