This is interesting variant, but can be improved dramatically if restrictions removed.
Here is example game we played with @ohioshogi in study mode.
Kings should be placed at any move, not at game start. And pawns can be placed on 1st rank too. It's restriction of crazyhouse study mode, which was used to emulate this variant.
