@flash_ahaaa yes, i took what you wrote as sarcasm --- sincere apologies for misinterpreting. however, i did want them to become better chess players, i just didn't expect, well, any of them to become super serious. but they did progress fairly well in general, and it was an incredible experience to be helping them along their chess way. i really wanted them to have fun and be good sports, though, above all.
