amusing mate
Not amusing but weird instead!
I've never seen Nge7 in Benoni before, but hey I play 1...Nf6 so what do I know
Ne7 what an interesting way to play the benoni!
@ShiningDrongo Nf6 is better according to computer, but I just feel more comfortable this way with Ne7 because it perfecty supports f5 to recapture, and when put there, the knight just becomes a strong piece, you saw in this game how desperately he wanted to remove it by playing g4 and leaving his king naked for a deadly attack.
Yeah, I like your idea a lot.
I think my problem with benoni without Nf6 would be that after 1. d4 c5 2. d5 e6 white can also play 3. e4 and I just don't want these positions. 3...exd5 4.exd5 black is cramped and it doesn't have that bite, there is no pawn structure imbalance to play with.
