5 Nc3 would have been more powerful than 6 Nc3 as it would have won a tempo with attack on the queen.
10 Bd2 is passive: you could capture the pawn 10 Nxe5 as you attack his queen.
16...cxb4 just hands over an exchange.
You both played too fast and thus both made mistakes.
