Need help

I think you resigned too early on game 1. You had a free piece there and could've regained momentum. Think about where they would've moved their king to.

If e7, you could've moved the knight back and forth to f5, until they either move from the e lane or a repetition-draw results.

If d8 or d7 you could've just taken the e6 bishop with your knight. They probably won't sacrifice the queen for a rook, which means their f8 knight probably goes to e6... allowing you to take the f7 knight.

From there they are in all kinds of trouble. Both the e6 knight and f6 bishop are in danger while the king is immobilized. You still had options in other words, you just gave up too early and didn't know how to proceed with an attack plan.
In game 2, it sounds like time was a factor, but you could've still tried moving the queen to d2 followed by the rook to d1. You could've threatened on both d1 or tried working the queen to f6 and then using the g2 pawn to chase away the knight for mate on g7. If they took the h pawn with the knight, you could take the knight with the queen followed by a knight move to g5, threatening mate on h7. There were options there too, in other words, but it would've taken some quick thinking to pull out a win with only 24 seconds.
