My game against my grandmother

I had faith in your grandmother the moment she played what could have been a good Antoshin Philidor however it went a bit more downhill after fianchettoing the bishop and playing c5. Your Knights were just too powerful after that.
Well played!

My remarks about the game:

1. In move 13 you decided to attack the pawn on d6, which is an understandable and good idea.
Your grandmother reacted with Qc7, which is a big mistake. After this move you reacted properly.
Instead of Qc7 she should have played Ne5. This move would have bring the night into the game and would have defend the pawn on d6 as well.

2. In the further course you did everything well. I do not see any mistakes.

3. The tactic in the end is really good. You forced your grandmother to take your rock. If she had not take the rock, you could checkmate her in the next move, so she decided to take the rock, but this did not change the situation. After you won her queen by this tricky tactic everything was already over. Interesting game. Thanks for sharing!
and have you seen and like the study?
Ooh, a quite, not quite, mostly similar things happening when I also created a same topic like My win against grandpa, and then creating a study named Me vs Grandpa. But, still well played!
Gg. I might have played impatiently 34. Qd7+ or at least 36. Qg8+ to simplify the game and eliminate all black's chances for counter play. Still, 36. Qc7+ is quite clear continuation once you notice the move.
What about the study, there's just the game?
