@Dim89 That doesn't mean anything... You misstated facts (Svidler and Aronian have played in the World Championship), you disagree about my assessment of 'contender' by giving examples of people who either didn't have a 2780+ rating (Beliavsky had a peak rating of 2710 but holds the record of having defeated the most world champions) or people who I consider to be contenders (Ivanchuk played in the Candidates 2013 and beat Carlsen in round 14; guess who became champion that year...; Also Ivanchuk became World Champion in 2016 - in Rapid). You're desperately trying to explain why it was a hard prediction that a 22-year-old rated 2782 would become a world championship contender. But however you define contender, either most or all of the 2780+ rated people were contenders.
