How do you control who gets to spectate your games?

@IPunishDaddy2007
You absolutely wanted to be a star, now you are a star !
People prefer to look at your games rather than those played by titled players who, by comparison, are just patzers !
So why are you so astonished ?

Note: a lot of funny and wise answers, but my favorite, so far, is #2 (@MrPushwood)
@Brno7 I didn't come to lichess to be a star, I came to lichess to learn a little about chess because I was promised it would 1) improve my LoL play and 2) allow people to reference chess or make analogies that they want to when trying to talk about or ask about things in LoL
@pn2206 I have already gotten a lot of praise for my play, either in the form of people calling me a master player or better or an obvious engine cheater. All of which occurred in these public forums. I don't want the people who say I am just a cheater to reconsider and study my games, or to increase intrigue and bring even more people to look at and study my games. It would feel pretty lame I think if someone wrote a successful chess book made up entirely of the interpretation of my ideas. I also don't want people who think i'm hot stuff already to go through my games with even more gusto and perhaps figure out the evolution of what I am experimenting with now and play the improved versions before I can.

That's why I want the censorship of my games to be forced, rather than a choice on THEIR end .
By signing up for or playing on this site, you agreed to provide lichess the license to display any "content" you create on the site (games, posts, etc.). Lichess exercises this right in part by publicly displaying your, and every other player's, games. As such, it's impossible to make one's games private or censor them, as you have relinquished the right to demand that.

Relevant portion of the ToS: "By submitting, posting or displaying content on or through our services, you grant us a global, non-exclusive, royalty-free license, with the right to sublicense, to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute such content in any and all media or distribution channels."

Why don't you write a successful chess book made up entirely of your ideas yourself first?
