Haste, just a matter of taste ?

Sleepyhead /me thought : "Hey, I can sac my queen, king walks to e8 and then I have a nice Torre-Lasker Zwickmuehle (Windmill) !!" overlooking the excellent defending knight on f5. But guess what ? My queen sac was fine, except white had to play 26.Ne5+! Ke8 27.Rxf8+ Kxf8 28.Rh1 Ne7 29.Rh8+ Ng8 30.Nxg6+ Kf7 31.Ne5+ Kf8 32.Nd7+ forking! And white is better to winning. That is a really long line, and I would not have found that, but it looks pretty ! (3 0 game, 1-3-2,100 acpl)
Nice variation.
Just a word of caution for the opening. When Black castles and unpins his Knight, you should take it immediately as 8...Ne7 would have left your Bishop stranded.
Actually, I dare say white had a nice shortcut to victory (which would have been a brilliant one indeed!). After move 24 by black (Kg8), white should have played Ne5, threatening checkmate with Rh8, which black can only delay as it is impossible to stop the white rook on h1. Any countermove by black would lead only to material loss and a delayed defeat.

Unfortunately black has Rxf6 as well as Ng7 as defensive moves.
Yes, it's true. Anyway, after black plays Rxf6, white has a nice fork with Nd7, which threatens to capture either the queen or the rook. So, after black removes the queen from danger, white can capture the rook on f6, that would be check and the black king must necessarily find shelter on f7 to be protected by a following Ng7 and avoid troubles. All things considered, it's a very sharp line that requires black to play with the utmost accuracy. Even Rxf6 (which saves the day, as you observed) is a move an average player would hardly think of... Thanks for sharing this interesting game.
I am actually happy to see that someone of your level also misses opportunities like the one you had move 6 :D.
