So recently I was going through the games of stockfish vs Deepmind's Alphazero and I found while analysing it through SF 9 and asmfish(latest bulids) that SF really played some bad moves in some critical positions and in the lichess analysis it clearly shows that there were mistakes and inaccuracies in the play of SF whereas there was none in case of alphazero which is very odd considering it the same program .My point is that SF takes time to move to a higher depth and I believe 1 min was given as move time so may be SF was at disadvantage and also I heard that the version of SF used in the match was a year old !!
In here SF has 3 inaccuracies and 4 mistakes suggested none other than SF 9!!
Asking stockfish to find its mistakes against alphazero is like asking a 12 year old patzer to find mistakes in one of magnus carlsen's games, and then saying the patzer could beat carlsen because he found a "better move" than carlsen's opponent (when in reality that "better move" is garbage).
Only if deepmind plays TCEC, we would know.
I was excited at first too, but then I found out the key details:
Deepmind was running with super google computing power vs a strockfish running with the same computing power as a laptop, with no openings (thus openings it wouldn't normally have gone for), no endgame tables, etc.
It was NOT a fair battle, but a great publicity stunt by google.
It was some nice games, but not a fair match.
Bring Deepmind into TCEC, and I predict it won't make top 3.

@the_real_noname I agree with you man.I think that if Deepmind thinks Alphazero have made a breakthrough they need to prove that in TCEC ,where all the engines are given equal hardwares and opening moves are decided.
@fpvbmct your rating is far too low for your so energetic comments mate.Any sensible person would never compare Stockfish to a 12 year kid...and also according to you SF 9's better moves are "garbage" !! What are you a player of 4000 elo ?? Oh no I see ..you just have an bloody elo of 1400s.So if I were you I would keep my mouth shut in matters which is way over my head :)

@BongPlayer i improved 500 blitz rating in 2 months, you have improved 13 rating in 12 months. when i get to 2000 i will let you know for sure :)
