Does bullet chess make you better or worse?

Well obviously the science must be WRONG, because playing lots of Bullet ABSOLUTELY improves your chess!
Also I want to protest against the following misinformation in the article!

2+1 is definitely NOT a Bullet time control, it's basically slow chess!
Is il okay if i play 150 bullet games per month?
Thank you GM Avetik. I "premoved" on your advice some time ago and immediately recovered my appetite for correct chess. It was enlightening and reassuring to read your thoughtful and well researched confirmation of that experience.

Your students are fortunate to have you as a trainer.
I stopt bullet playing for a while, but then i have play, and now i stop forever
Thank you @Avetik_ChessMood for this article, as it's not the get-lots-of-followers and likes article. However, I feel like I am in a dilemma, because I really want to improve, but I also enjoy bullet. Do you think it would be OK if I spend 3 to 4 times as much time with slower games, especially classical and rapid but still play some bullet? Thanks again for the article though, and for all the great blog posts you create!
I'd say it makes you worse. When you play you pretty much scatter your figures around the board trying to win by time. In order to win the most thing you pay attention to is how much time you have and how much time your opponent has, and not the position on the board. The more you play it, the more you get used to make quick moves. And when you play a normal game, with time, you make lots of wrong moves as in the matter of you being used to your quick reflexes. This is just my opinion and please do not take this personally.
@AnaT2010 I agree with you completely, although I will add that the higher the level of the bullet chess, the more it is a structured game not just random scattering of pieces. I'd say this begins at around 1500, but just watch gm's play bullet and they play it better than most 1600's play rapid-just my thoughts.
