I’m Coach Rolly, a full-time chess coach based in Thailand. If you’re a player who isn’t willing to put in the work, grind, and stay committed, then I’m probably not the right coach for you. No hard feelings—I genuinely wish you all the best on your chess journey.

I’m not even sure anymore how long I’ve been teaching or when this madness actually started. At this point, I just know that I enjoy brainwashing my students into believing that chess is actually a cool game. Maybe they’ll farm some aura over the board, maybe they’ll reach their peak faster than expected—or maybe, just maybe, I’ll help them realize that chess simply isn’t for them. Either way, it’s all part of the journey.

Currently teaching under Double Bishop Chess Academy. I’m a bit too lazy to write about my past because I believe it’s better not to dwell on the past and instead focus on what lies ahead.
