Hi! I’m IM Aaditya Dhingra , a 20-year-old International Master from Delhi, India. I currently study B.Com (Hons.) at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) while continuing to compete in international chess events.

I have reached a peak FIDE rating of 2495 and have been coaching students for the past two years . Alongside coaching, I also actively work as a second for strong players , helping them with tournament preparation, opening preparation, and game analysis.

My coaching covers all aspects of chess — openings, calculation, middlegames, endgames, positional understanding and practical tournament play . However, I place particular emphasis on self-analysis . I believe the most valuable part of coaching is not simply showing a player what they did wrong, but teaching them *how to understand their own games, identify recurring weaknesses, and find better solutions independently .

My goal is to help players build a strong thinking process and develop the skills needed for long-term improvement , rather than relying only on memorising variations or short-term fixes.

I have been playing competitive chess for over 12 years and have gained extensive experience competing in strong tournaments both in India and internationally.

Over the years, I have participated in several prestigious events, including the Aeroflot Open, Qatar Masters, Abu Dhabi Open, Fujairah Masters, Serbia Masters, Turkish League, Asian Junior Championship and World Junior Championship .

Competing at this level has given me valuable experience against strong international opposition and in a wide variety of tournament environments. I have also had success in numerous rapid events , winning several tournaments along the way.

With a peak FIDE rating of 2495 , I continue to actively compete in international events and constantly work on improving my own game. This active tournament experience also allows me to bring practical insights from high-level competition into my coaching.

I have been coaching for the past 2 years , helping students improve their ratings within a short period of time. I have also worked as a second for strong players , assisting with opening preparation and tournament preparation.
