Hi, I'm Ilya Gruzman, a 23-year-old Candidate Master (CM) from Israel and a full-time chess coach with over 10 years of experience.

In 2022, I came within just half a point of earning the FM title at the European Club Chess Championship.
Right now working hard to bounce back and get the next title in 2025.

I have dedicated myself to helping players rated 1200-2000 improve their skills and deepen their understanding of the game.
Additionally, I have built an extensive library designed to elevate players by 50-200 fide points a year.

It became very popular nowadays to work on strategy and positional understanding,
when a Coach opens a book like "mastering chess strategy" gives 5-10 positions a class.
And then doing it on the very next lesson with OTHER student!!!

In such case a student is left wondering if their hard-earned money is being well spent.
Spoiler: of course not.

I can promise you that every part of our training will be designed for YOU.
We'll find your weakest spots that you didn't even know exist and face them head-on.
