About me

Hi! I’m GM Nikoloz Petriashvili, 24 years old, from Georgia. I’ve been playing chess since I was five.

Playing experience

I still play regularly to keep my practical level sharp

Teaching experience

I have experience working with high-level players, including a successful player who improved from around 2500 FIDE to 2620+ during our period of work.
I particularly enjoy working with players rated 2400+ FIDE. I specialize in opening preparation, theoretical work, and analyzing new and unfamiliar positions. I have extensive theoretical knowledge and focus on finding new ideas and practical solutions.
I dedicate approximately 4–7 hours every day to chess, focusing on improving my own play, researching new ideas, analyzing different openings, and creating training material. I have also developed my own training program based on unique positions that I create myself, designed to improve calculation, positional understanding, and practical decision-making.

Other experiences

I was streaming once and they asked me to turn on Proctoring. My computer overheated, and that was the end of the stream.

Best skills

Sometimes I’m friendly too
