I am GM Krasimir Rusev, professional chess player and trainer.
Member of the Bulgarian National Chess Team.Winner of many strong chess tournaments around the world. I graduated from the
National Sports Academy in Bulgaria with a Bachelor’s degree in Chess Pedagogy.

I have been playing all over the world for more than 15 years.
Winner of many strong international tournaments
National Champion in all possible groups ( 10,12,14,16,18,20)

Teaching experience

I have over 10 years of first-hand coaching experience, producing excellent players including the 2012 European Youth Chess
Champion U8, IM Tsvetan Stoyanov, helped to WGM Nurgyul Salimova during the World Chess Championship under-12(Porto
Carras/Greece
2015) where she won the GOLD medal, FM Valentin Mitev-national champion under 14,
the winner of many strong tournaments, IM Plamen Mladenov (2376), and his older brother, NM Ilian Mladenov (2235) among many other distinguished players.
In 2015, worked with the super-GM Ivan Cheparinov-(2688) as his second for the WorldChessCup-Baku
Head coach of Veselin Topalov's academy where I worked with some of the best American youngsters like:
Andy Huang, Christopher Chen, Annie Wang, Arthur Guo, Emily Nguyen, Jason Wang

Teaching methodology
