Hi, I am Jan Lajbl and I like coaching more than playing because preparations can be more exciting than the game itself. I love to analyze games and create dynamic positions from human point of view.

Playing since 2011. The biggest individual accomplishment is winning U20 national rapid championship and, of course, achieving my peak ELO.

Coaching since 2016. 2 gold and 1 silver medal as a coach in national championships in classical, 1 bronze in rapid. I am also a teacher at school, so I am used to dealing with various needs and personalities.

I specialize in preparations and openings.
