WIM Isha Sharma from Karnataka, India. I am the 1st Karnataka Women Chess Player to become Women International Master (WIM) in the year 2019. Having scored 2 WGM norms and with a peak rating of 2325, I have but one more norm to achieve to acquire the coveted Woman Grand Master (WGM) title.

♟️Got my initial rating of 1248 in the very first FIDE tournament I played in 2011!

👑1st WIM Norm in March 2017 at Sharjah 2018
👑2nd WIM Norm in September 2018 at Turkey 2019
👑3rd WIM Norm in August 2019 at Hungary and became WIM Isha Sharma.
👑2022- Maiden WGM and IM norm in Piestany, Slovakia beating legendary Krasenkow Michal (Poland).

Having a good hold over the basic principles of chess results in making the most practical and logical decisions over the board. Translating the key concepts and patterns of the game in understandable ways is my specialty.
