I am Shaik Sumer Arsh
I’m 18 years old from India, currently a student and an active chess player. I regularly play tournaments and spend a lot of time studying and improving my game. Outside of chess, I enjoy traveling and competing at different levels.

I have played in District-level to International Level Tournaments.
Achieved my Candidate and FIDE Master Titles in the 2022 and 2024 Europe trips.
Won Commonwealth U-12 Rapid & Blitz Bronze Medalist.
Won many State Championships.
National School Games Silver medalist.

I’ve worked with a few students, helping them improve their calculation, tactical awareness, and overall understanding of the game. Through this, I’ve developed a clear and practical way of explaining ideas, focusing on making concepts easy to understand and apply in real games.

I help players learn how to properly calculate variations, identify key ideas, and make confident decisions instead of relying on guesswork. I can also guide you in openings and middlegame calculation, working through practical positions and your own games to fix mistakes and build better thinking habits. My approach is flexible — helping you become a well-rounded player who can handle different types of positions.
