The Bundesliga 21/22 is the German national league which takes place from 5th of March to the 10th of July in Germany. It features many high-level-GMs.

In the Bundesliga, 16 teams participate, featuring 8 players per team. Each team plays each other once over the season, which results in 15 rounds.
A match win earns two match points and a draw is worth one. For final standings, match points are important in first place, if draw, then game points decide.

Time control is 100 minutes for 40 moves, then an additional 50 minutes for the rest of game, with a 30-second increment from move one.
