  1. Sleivert Bb2 or Qe2 mby
  2. Sleivert Bb2 pressures the pawn while Qe2 gives control of e4
  3. darubaru Good luck Verdikins!
  4. Sleivert I like Nc6 over e5 as e5 opens up for Ng5 and alot of pressure on the f7 pawn
  5. mynameismund Let’s god verdikins!
  6. mynameismund Go*
  7. mynameismund Knowing the match score, I really like how he’s playing thus
  8. mynameismund Typing is hard
  9. Sleivert Verdikins, are you here?
  10. Verdikins yeah
  11. Sleivert Was watching while riding the train, cool game you two played
  12. Sleivert Just wondering, what was the idea with 19. Ne4?
  13. Verdikins It was really fun, too bad I blundered the ending :)
  14. Sleivert Yeah, but it's moves like Qf3 that you learn from :D
  15. Sleivert But to be honest, it didn't look like there was much danger there
  16. Verdikins I was worried about f5, so I though I could play Ke4 with tempo on the bishop to move the Queen to f3
  17. Verdikins *thought
  18. Verdikins *Ne4
  19. Sleivert Right
  20. Verdikins I can't type xD
  21. Sleivert Hehe :)
  22. Verdikins Couldn't find a killing blow, and stockfish agrees that there was no danger heh
  23. Sleivert True, but the percieved threat is stronger than the actualy threat alot of the time
  24. Verdikins though I was up a rook in the end and didn't see 24. .. e4
  25. Verdikins I knew I had to go back with the Queen to join the defense, but picked the wrong square :S
  26. Sleivert Well, gotta say that is a though move to spot
  27. Sleivert So wouldn't beat myself up to much about it
  28. Sleivert I think 19. Qe4 would have been an improvement on Ne4, keeps the momentum up
  29. Sleivert And at our level atleast, it doesn't matter that stockfish says you are -5 with that kinda position
  30. Sleivert King all on his own, lots of pressure and 12 minutes on the clock
  31. Sleivert Gotta say i really enjoyed the way you played though
  32. Sleivert Just going for it all out
  33. Verdikins Yeah. I sensed that there would be opportunities after the bishop sac, but didnt capitalize :)
  34. Verdikins thanks :)
  35. Sleivert cristoper, if you're here, what was the thinking behind 21...Bf5?
  36. Sleivert thought* plan*
  37. Sleivert idk, english is hard :D
  38. Verdikins I think it was pre-moving the bishop that would be attacked by the queen after Qxa8
  39. Verdikins but he overlooked the in-between move knight takes
  40. Verdikins (I think)
  41. cristoper I saw 22.Nxf5, but thought I would be able to play Rah8 and give up a piece but have doubled rooks on the h file
  42. cristoper but of course after 22.Nxf5 the knight was hitting my h rook
  43. cristoper so really teh main idea behind 21..Bf5 was that I always like to followup a mistake with a blunder :-[
