  1. Numberman768 Good luck Artian
  2. yago666 go ostdorfer
  3. yago666 do it for my fantasy team
  4. maxivgc hope that is prep
  5. maxivgc ok knikght e7 is a bad move
  6. maxivgc because black can get quite some nice positions against c4 there but perheps artian saw that ostdorfer likes to go for this "pure" taimanov
  7. yago666 but Ne7 isn't a move in the taimanov either?
  8. maxivgc i think in english its a bit different but in german we call the taimanov the poulsen and only if Ne7 is played its the taimanov
  9. yago666 huh, like what variation?
  10. maxivgc there are some variations where black wants to take the knight and then play the other knight to c6 to exchange some pieces
  11. ErinYu I feel like 6.Nb5 was pretty good. Am I wrong?
  12. maxivgc true
  13. maxivgc because then black sorta has to go knight g6
  14. maxivgc and he really doesnt want to go there
  15. maxivgc also i think against the marozcy in the taimanov its essential to put preasure on the e pawn which black has failed to do.
  16. maxivgc because usually after c4 black gets some nice counterplay with bishop b4 and knight f6 and so on
  17. maxivgc but here it seems like white is comfortably better
  18. maxivgc altough i dont really like queen d1 but i dont know if that move makes a difference
  19. seius it doesn't look good...
  20. ostdorfer I think qg8 last move woulda been stronger directly putting pressure on the knight.
  21. maxivgc why not just knight takes d5
  22. Numberman768 must have wanted it to hit with check
  23. ostdorfer omg Bc2, I don't see a good reply
  24. ostdorfer I completely missed nf4 before though, so there might be something I can't see
  25. maxivgc Isnt queen b5 a good reply tho
  26. Numberman768 was thinking the same
  27. maxivgc also what about queen a2 instead of rock h4
  28. maxivgc because you always have tricks with Rh4 and d6
  29. Grzybozbur what after 33...rc5?
  30. maxivgc also i forgot that the bishop hangs with check so everything i wrote is stupid haha
  31. Numberman768 very interesting imbalance here
  32. maxivgc im worried white is completly lost
  33. maxivgc simply because black has twice as much pieces haha
  34. Numberman768 whites king looks rather tender too
  35. ostdorfer i see forced mate, chat probably found it already
  36. RobUmbra Nice!
  37. ostdorfer i can't believe I won this game after I missed Nf4
