I always enjoyed chess as a kid but never got any formal training. I tried picking it up again as an adult and played a few USCF tournaments, with mixed results. I'm more of an analyst than a cutthroat competitor. My blitz/bullet instincts were atrocious but have gradually improved with experience. I like studying openings, training tactics, and watching banter blitzes.
