The Dvoretsky Training Technique
"The Dvoretsky Training Technique" is extremely interesting.
My coach introduced me to the Dvoretsky training method. He showed me the following position. Dvoretsky has analyzed this position extensively in his "Analytical Manual" and it is a very famous position. It is white to play here.I looked at this position and I thought to myself ,"Is not this position symmetrical and drawish? What is there to think about?".Boy,I was wrong. My coach told me that he has been thinking about this position for years. Is not that awesome?

I do not want to give away the answer to this position because of course, there is no "answer" to this particular position. Dvoretsky has given about 30 pages of analysis for this single position. Grandmasters have often come up with new "discoveries" regarding this position. It is truly fascinating.
So,This is what Dvoretsky asks of you.
Imagine that you are in a real life otb game.
Scenario 1 .
Imagine that you are playing are a real game. You have got three minutes. You have got to make one move before time control. What would you do ?Write down the move.
Scenario 2
You have got ten minutes now.You have got some time to calculate. You are not under "time pressure".What would you play?Write your move down.
Scenario 3.
You have got twenty minutes. You may not need twenty minutes if you are going for a quiet continuation. If you were unable to calculate the complex lines earlier,You can probably go for those complex concrete lines now.Write the move down again.
You can check the engine lines once you are ready or You can go to the 61st page of Dvoretsky's Analytical manual after the whole process. The position is marvellous. Enjoy.
