My tips to learn a language easier!

Off topic
Have you ever tried to learn a language? If yes, you knock in the right door!

Hello everyone and Welcome to my blog!

Recently, I've been trying to learn Japanese (because why not), I tried to go deeper and know more about the language; Learn the Alphabet, the grammar rules, the vocabulary needed etc. And then I realized that I encountered many tiring cases which discourages you to learn it. So now I know everything that could be annoying when beginning such a thorny journey, and in this blog I will present you my personal tips to learn a language with the easiest and funniest way!

Choose the language you want to learn:

First of all, you must choose what language you want to learn because... it's hard to learn a language you didn't choose lol. There are a plethora of available and good options to begin with, you can choose anyone you want, but I recommend a well-known and commonly used language which corresponds well with the language(s) you know already. Personally, I know English, French and Arabic. I know most people reading this blog know the English language, so I will give you a list of languages that suits you the best:

  • French
  • Spanish
  • Italian
  • Dutch
  • German

This is obviously not an exhaustive list, those languages are just some possible suggestions, but you can choose any language you want and think is the most useful for you. And please don't judge a language because it's difficult; Don't say Arabic or Chinese is difficult just because of how they work. A native Arabic speaker will also find French and English difficult languages, so it depends on the Point Of View.

Learn about the language before actually learning it:

OK, you've chosen your language, you've prepared a copybook to note everything, you're finally ready to start! Before you actually start, let's say you want to learn the Arabic Language, you need first of all to know about the language. What I mean is that you need to know how the language actually works. For example, if you want to learn Arabic, you first need to know how Arabic works to actually understand why it works. For the two of you living in a cave, Arabic uses consonants to write the actual word, but for the vowels there are special marks we write on top/under the letter to give it a sound; That's the reason why Arabic words tend to be very long when written with the English alphabet:

"He entered" in Arabic

The word is divided in 3 letters, each delimited with a blue line. And the letter itself is a consonant, and the vowel is the marks i wrote in yellow. This is how you know more about a language; You analyze how it works and why it works.

Study the language slowly but surely:

We all know learning a language is exciting, but you need to do it well; If you go very quickly in your learning session, you will at some point forget something important you needed to keep in your brain but just disappeared; That's the consequence of doing things too quickly, because you don't remember things very well and get to an awkward position.

You need to learn at a regular rhythm; Not too much a day, nor not enough neither. Fix yourself a deadline or a limit you will not cross. When starting for example learning the alphabet, start a few letters at a time, with similar aspects, but forcefully in the determined alphabetical order, but a few at a time.

Whenever you wanna stop, stop:

Stop learning if necessary, if you have an important event and you don't have much time, stop and take a break. It's OK to be sad a few minutes, but not hours. Limit your anxiety and angriness, and whenever you got sick of it, stop and go find another activity which you also like and have fun with. Don't forget, if you do something, the principal reason is for fun.

And also, don't learn too much about the language nor not enough, but just the dose you can handle everyday you can.

Conclusion:

My conclusion about learning a language is that it's hard and thorny, but eventually you can do it! And I think that's it, if you appreciated please hurt the like button above, and leave a reply as feedback of this blog and see y'all in a next blog!
