My name is Gary Bailey, Im 70 years old and my hobby is Chess.I learned chess as a prisoner in ala. dept of corrections at around 30 years old.Its a long story but i can say that this royal game actually saved my life. Im the only chess player in the small town i live in so i must travel for otb competition. Im retired now but after release from prison ( convicted of armed robbery,( 2 counts in alabama 1973) learned in 1979 at Holman unit which at the time was considered the most violent prison in the nation) I ended up working construction as an iron worker and boiler maker.
