Play the double fianchetto system like Oleksandr Bortnyk

ChessAnalysisOpeningChess Personalities
Another LiChess Tools study containing an interactive lesson of 121 games (first 20 moves) that Oleksandr played as Black with this syste,

Born in '96, Oleksandr Bortnyk is a Ukrainean GM (awarded in 2015) chess player and YouTuber. Using the features available in LiChess Tools, the browser extension that extends lichess in multiple ways, I've created another "Play like..." study, containing an interactive lesson of 121 games played by Bortnyk as Black using a double fianchetto hypermodern system.

Oleksandr Bortnyk's double fianchetto vs 1.d4

Would you play the same moves that he did? And in that case, would you be winning or losing?

In order to be able to play the lesson, you will need the LiChess Tools browser extension installed.

If you want to learn how to create your own studies like this, it's really easy:

  1. install LiChess Tools
  2. download the player games that you are interested in
  3. select what you are interested in (maximum of 20 moves, specific variations, winning conditions, etc.)
  4. import all of the games at once in Analysis
  5. turn the analysis into a Study
  6. right click on any move in the move list and select "Evaluate terminating moves"
  7. when that is done, set the chapter to Interactive Mode

enjoy!
