Celebrating 4 Years in Lichess

Introduction...

In the midst of the year 2025 on the auspicious day of October 1 at 7.45 PM I would be commemorating the fourth year on Lichess. This blog is to inform you about the achievements that I have achieved in the previous year. And will be going to set some ambitions for the upcoming year and I am writing this blog for self-satisfaction as when I read it in the future, I must feel joyful and satisfied. Being an ambitious chess player, I have reached the following achievements and will share with you guys:)

1. Reaching 2100+ in Bullet. An increase of 400+ ELO in just a year.
2. Crossing 1900+ in Rapid. An increase of 150+ ELO in just a year.
3. Crossing 1800+ in Blitz. An increase of 300+ ELO in just a year.

How many games and time spent playing chess?

Taking a cue from my previous blog of "Completing 3 Years in Lichess !!" I had played a total of ***2,877 games in 3 year***s and now just after a year I had played a total of 5,738 games. Then I had played a total of 2,861 from October 1,2024 till October 1,2025. I have WON 2,780, LOST 2,773 & DREW 185 games, rest are chess variants games. Though, the most games I have lost is in bullet only. I have spent around 13 days and 17 hours of my life for just playing chess so far.

1. BLITZ-672 GAMES
2. RAPID-631 GAMES
3. BULLET-3,858 GAMES
4. Rest is of chess variants and drawn games.

Why couldn't I upload new blogs and studies this year?

This is because I have been shifted from one city to another and there has been significant change in my school pattern. In the new city there is bit more pressure on the students than my previous school, thereby not having enough time to make new blogs and studies. Although, I will try my best to make one popular study and write a blog this upcoming year. I have written one blog in this year which you can read it by clicking here.

1.Ishaan_Biswas (2070) - Kankamyallahlobiye (2046)

This game was played by me today only, in the path of crossing 2100ELO in bullet for the first time. A beautiful Bishop sacrifice by me with an 95% accuracy.

2.Gnosis_Masonry (1938) - Ishaan_Biswas (1946)

A beautiful Queen sacrifice by me to checkmate my opponent with an 95% accuracy.

3.Ishaan_Biswas (1873) - joe778 (1891)

A crazy pawn move leading to a mate in-2 along with a hanging QUEEN !! an 97 % accuracy .

4.rbn491 (1808) - Ishaan_Biswas (1853)

An Englund Gambit leading to the destruction of my opponent, being the first pawn move "1.e5" an inaccuracy but still getting an 95% accuracy.

5.Erkin-S1983 (1825) - Ishaan_Biswas (1845)

One of my favorite mating patterns which is the "SMOTHERED MATE" is being done in this game with a 95% accuracy.

Targets for next year...

1. Cross 2000+ ELO in BLITZ.
2. Reach 2000+ELO in RAPID.
3. Get a FIDE rating of atleast 1500.
4. Puzzle rating of 2300+.
5. Make a popular study .
6. Write a BLOG.
   

Conclusion

One more year has been completed so quickly, and I have SKYROCKETED my ELO in the main categories of chess especially in BULLET. Let's calculate the average of RAPID , BLITZ & BULLET. On an average I am a 1937 ELO online and I am very happy with the result, hoping to cross 2000+ELO in RAPID & BLITZ very soon, to become an average player of 2000 ELO. The road to 2100 in BULLET was pretty difficult had to face a lot of obstacles. "Sometimes dancing in joy of winning and sometimes withering in the agony of losing multiple games." Just crossed 2100+ ELO in BULLET today only, a lucky day for me. You guys can also upload BLOGS like this on your completion of a year on Lichess for attaining self-satisfaction in the future.
