My New Brilliant Moves Record

Yeah, so last post is history apparently.

My first ever 3 brilliants in one game happened around 2 to 3 years ago, so it's insane, that I go from 5 to more in literally less than 3 days. If you didn't see my former record, you can check my post about it here.

From my experience lichess doesn't push out a second post, if one is on the main page, so if you are going to see this game, consider yourself lucky ;p

Let's get into it

Another record, another sicilian. Also against the Najdorf, there are similar variants, where White can get this Bg5-h4 tactic going on.

These positions are a nightmare to navigate for Black even for titled players, so it's a matter of time until my opponent makes a mistake. And it won't take long.

Rfc8 is a nice try, trying to give up the exchange get something going on on the queenside. A simple Rd3 would put a stop to that. If only...

Blinded my a possibility of seeing a big blue number. no thought of defending crossed my mind. Fortunately, in the end it paid of, and my highest total amount of brilliant moves is now raised to 6!! Game link.

A short game, and a short post. I was laying in bed, about to go to sleep, playing a couple games on my phone. And then this happened.
