My granddad taught me Chess and I finally joined a club last year. I play in local tournaments in South Germany with classical time controls.
My favorite part of chess is tactics and combinations. I like to play openings with less theory that tend to lead to interesting, tactical positions. I love the Vienna and Nimzo-Larsen. With Black I prefer the stability of the Caro and Slav-Defense.
