Entry 7: A Day Late

Hello, comrades of Lichess. I am quite pleased to announce that I have made it to my rating goal of 1290! I am blogging this a day late because I had stuff to do late at night and I was absolutely pooped at 22:00. I tried doing puzzles (as I always do before my games), and dropped a lot. I therefore decided to wait until the morning to do such a thing... and won immediately. It took 15 games this week, 6 of which were losses. This week, we're not analyzing any losses (I'm keeping it short, summer reading always a dub).

So, yeah. Here we go.

As you will notice, these are games where instead of going for mate in the middlegame, I traded down for the endgame. No fuss, no mess. Just clean wins.

So, the rating goal for this week is to get to 1300 minimum. If we are lucky, we'll try to get to 1315, or 1320, but those are a bit of a stretch. I think it is possible, although I'm probably not going to be playing much. Stay well, everyone. To the climb!
