The FIDE World Rapid & Blitz Team Championships 2025 just started in London, England! GMs Hikaru Nakamura, Vishy Anand, Alireza Firouzja and many more will compete with their teams for the Rapid Championship title until 13 June and the Blitz Championship title from 14 to 15 June.

GM Magnus Carlsen is the winner of Norway Chess 2025! GM Fabiano Caruana finished in 2nd place, while the reigning World Champion, GM Gukesh Dommaraju, took 3rd place. GM Anna Muzychuk secured 1st place in the Women's Tournament, with GM Lei Tingjie coming in 2nd and GM Koneru Humpy in 3rd place.

GM Aravindh Chithambaram won the 6th Stepan Avagyan Memorial ahead of GM Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, repeating his success at the 2025 Prague International Chess Festival, and climbed to 9th in the live ratings!
