Target Practice - Beginner to Chess Master #15
This is video #15 from the "Beginner to Chess Master" playlist. What pawns may be more vulnerable than others? Might the location of the pawns influence their worth? It certainly does! This discussion can be categorized under "chess strategy", and looks to both help with our positional understanding of the game, and give us something at a very early stage to be focused on, namely the pawns. The pawns are talking to you, and giving you directions. How receptive are you to them? Are you listening to their instructions? To the experienced player, a single target within your structure is like blood to a shark. Careful not to be eaten alive.

I'm a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
